Spring 2026 was a busy season for us. Between late March and late April, we were present at two of Europe's most relevant industrial fairs: Global Industrie in Paris and, for the first time, Hannover Messe. Two events, two markets, one positive outcome.
France: the market that knows us
Global Industrie, held this year at Paris Nord Villepinte from 30 March to 2 April, is much more than a trade show for V Laser On. France accounts for more then 40% of our export production and Paris is where we reconnect with long-standing clients, strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities. This edition was no exception. Our team at the fair was led by Pedro Simões, Administrator and Head of Export and Naoifel Samir, Head of French Market Development. Over four days, our schedule was packed with productive meetings with French partners and prospects, confirming solid interest in our contract manufacturing solutions, precision laser cutting, bending, welding and industrial assembly.
The French market knows what V Laser On delivers: quality, geographical proximity, responsiveness and the practical advantage of being able to visit our factory, just 10 minutes from Porto Airport, and return home the same day. This edition reinforced that trust.
Hannover: a debut on a different stage
Hannover Messe, from 22 to 26 April, was a first time. The world's largest industrial fair presents any exhibitor with a scale and sectoral diversity that demands a different kind of preparation. We participated as part of the AIMMAP delegation, representing the Portuguese metalworking industry in a highly competitive setting.
What we found in Hannover was a German industry navigating a period of transition. Uncertainty around the next economic cycle, supply chain pressures and the reconfiguration of several sectors were recurring themes in conversations. Germany is going through an adjustment period but it remains the engine of European industry. We believe these are precisely the moments of change where the best opportunities emerge for partners who offer flexibility and efficiency.
The growing demand for metal components and sub-assemblies for defence equipment and infrastructure is a clear and present reality at Hannover. It is a demanding market with high technical requirements and one where V Laser On can add real value through its precision manufacturing capabilities and accumulated experience in complex industrial projects.
What we're taking home from these weeks
Two events, two market realities, one company that knows both terrains. V Laser On has 15 years of experience in metalworking for European OEMs and that experience translates into a sharp reading of what markets need. In Paris, we confirmed the strength of a relationship built over years. In Hannover, we took the first step in a relationship that has everything to grow. We leave with the firm conviction that our turnkey offer is an asset that equipment manufacturers value greatly, simplifying logistics, reducing lead times and non-conformities.
The calendar keeps moving. Conversations started at these fairs are progressing, and the contacts made will be developed over the coming months. For those who were curious but didn't make it to our stand, our factory door is always open! Get in touch with us.
